Directs the Legislative Research Commission to study the needs of working caregivers in North Carolina's workforce.

Study may examine the percentage of working caregivers, their needs, consequences of balancing work and caregiving, employment opportunities, and family responsibility discrimination.

Study scope includes analysis of existing legal protections, caregiving costs to employers and the public health care system, leave policies, and employer and government responses.

Commission shall report findings and recommendations to the 2016 Regular Session of the General Assembly.

Effective upon becoming law.
