Repeals subsection (g) of G.S. 143B-426.40A, which previously allowed state employees and public school employees to authorize payroll deductions for payments to employees' associations.

Eliminates the authorization for employees to have designated lump sums deducted from their salary or wages each payroll period to be paid to domiciled employees' associations with at least 2,000 members (including 500 state or public school employees).

Removes the separate provision allowing local board of education employees to authorize payroll deductions for employees' associations with at least 40,000 members, the majority of whom are public school teachers.

Effective upon enactment.
