Authorizes the Legislative Research Commission to study current law requiring persons convicted of sexual battery to register as sex offenders.

Commission study may examine restrictions and prohibitions applied to sexual battery convicts due to registration requirements.

Commission may analyze collateral consequences resulting from sexual battery convictions tied to registration requirements.

Commission may compare culpability and harm caused by sexual battery against other sex offenses requiring registration.

Commission must submit final findings and recommendations to the 2015 General Assembly before the 2016 short session convenes, effective July 1, 2015.
