Amends G.S. 7A-10(a) to authorize the North Carolina Supreme Court to hold sessions in the City of Morganton not more than twice annually.

Designates the Old Burke County Courthouse as the default meeting location for Morganton sessions, which served as the site of Supreme Court summer sessions from 1847-1862.

Allows the court to identify and use a more suitable site if one becomes available in lieu of the Old Burke County Courthouse.

Maintains the existing authority for the court to hold sessions not more than twice annually in Edenton at the Old Chowan County Courthouse (1767), a National Historic Landmark.

Effective upon becoming law; ratified June 11, 2015.
