Amends the charter of the Town of Carrboro to expand prohibited grounds for housing discrimination to include sexual orientation, gender identification, and gender expression.

Allows the Carrboro board of aldermen to adopt ordinances prohibiting discrimination in the sale or rental of housing based on the newly added protected categories.

Maintains existing exemptions for owner-occupied dwellings with no more than four families living independently, where the owner occupies one of the units as their residence.

Permits enforcement of housing discrimination ordinances through standard municipal enforcement methods or allows aggrieved persons to seek equitable relief in the General Court of Justice.

Becomes effective October 1, 2015.
