Increases the uniform fee for registering deeds of trust and mortgages from $56.00 to $64.00 for the first 35 pages (previously 15 pages).

Maintains the additional fee of $4.00 per page for pages exceeding the initial page allowance.

Maintains the $10.00 fee for each additional instrument contained within a deed of trust or mortgage.

Eliminates language specifying whether documents must be written, printed, or typewritten.

Becomes effective October 1, 2016, to comply with federal Truth in Lending and Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act closing disclosure requirements.
