Clarifies that the Judicial Standards Commission has exclusive jurisdiction and authority to discipline judges and justices of the General Court of Justice under Article 30 of Chapter 7A of the General Statutes.

Amends G.S. 84-23(a) to explicitly state that discipline of judges and justices follows procedures in Article 30 of Chapter 7A, separate from the State Bar Council's authority over lawyers and paralegals.

Modifies G.S. 84-28(a) to exclude judges and justices from the State Bar Council's disciplinary jurisdiction, clarifying that attorneys remain subject to Council discipline.

Amends G.S. 7A-374.1 to emphasize the Judicial Standards Commission has exclusive jurisdiction, authority, and procedures for discipline of judges and justices.

Becomes effective upon enactment and applies to orders or decisions entered on or after that date.
