Expands immunization requirements for K-12 school attendance to include hepatitis A, hepatitis B, rotavirus, mumps, pneumococcal disease, influenza, varicella, meningitis, and any other disease recommended by the CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, except human papillomavirus (HPV) and sexually transmitted diseases.

Requires all children to be screened for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) prior to receiving immunizations to determine eligibility for medical exemptions.

Eliminates the religious exemption for immunization requirements, allowing only medical exemptions based on physician certification of contraindications consistent with CDC recommendations.

Clarifies that new immunization requirements become effective the following academic year and exempts students already enrolled in school if they are beyond the recommended vaccination age.

Becomes effective August 1, 2015, for the 2015-2016 academic year.
