Authorizes sheriffs and police departments to advertise sales or donations of seized property electronically via websites or social media, in addition to newspaper publication requirements.

Requires notices to be posted at the county courthouse, sheriff/police department headquarters, and at least one other public location, with notices specifying property description, a 30-day claim deadline, and sale details.

Allows bicycles in police custody unclaimed for 60 days (instead of 180 days for other property) to be advertised and sold or donated to charitable organizations, with notice of intended disposition.

Permits sheriffs and police departments to sell seized property through electronic auction services without requirement to accept upset bids or objections after initial bid acceptance.

Takes effect October 1, 2015.
