Calls for a joint session of the North Carolina General Assembly to confirm gubernatorial appointments to the State Board of Education.

Requires the Governor to have transmitted the names of appointees to fill State Board of Education terms expiring March 31, 2023.

Authorizes the Speaker of the House and President Pro Tempore of the Senate to call the joint session to act on the confirmation resolution.

Ratified on June 29, 2016.
