Increases entry-level base pay for teachers from $33,000 to $35,000 for ten months of employment, effective July 1, 2015.

Appropriates $41,980,421 from the General Fund for each fiscal year (2015-2016 and 2016-2017) to implement the pay increase.

Allocates funding across multiple departments: $41,949,323 to Department of Public Instruction, $8,846 to Department of Health and Human Services, $19,549 to Department of Public Safety, and $2,703 to North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics.

Becomes effective July 1, 2015.
