Delays implementation of voter identification requirements (Part 2 of S.L. 2013-381) from January 1, 2016, until after the court renders its decision in Currie v. North Carolina.

Delays implementation of paper ballot provisions (Part 30 of S.L. 2013-381) from January 1, 2018, until after the court renders its decision in Currie v. North Carolina.

Nullifies both the voter identification and paper ballot provisions if the court finds them unconstitutional or invalid in Currie v. North Carolina.

Maintains the current notification and acknowledgment process for voters regarding photo identification requirements between May 1, 2014, and January 1, 2016, with photo identification remaining optional during this period.

Effective upon passage.
