Department of Transportation shall study weight limits on bridges in agricultural and forestry areas, including impacts on transportation costs, safety, and infrastructure related to detours around weight-restricted bridges.

Department of Transportation shall study regulatory barriers and restrictions on transporting fuel for agricultural or forestry use, focusing on vehicle weight limit compliance and routing issues.

Department of Environment and Natural Resources shall study regulatory barriers faced by farmers in coastal counties (Article 7, Chapter 113A) regarding farmland drainage impacted by decreased freshwater flow from coastal sounds due to inlet shoaling.

Both departments shall submit findings, recommendations, and any legislative proposals to their respective oversight committees by February 1, 2016.

Act becomes effective upon enactment.
