Requires the UNC Board of Governors to adopt a policy mandating all professors teach a minimum of eight class courses per academic year across all constituent institutions.

Reduces the salary of any professor teaching fewer than eight classes on a pro rata basis, with the option to supplement reduced salaries using proceeds from the constituent institution's endowment fund.

Mandates annual independent audits of each UNC institution to verify compliance with the teaching requirement policy.

Allows endowment fund proceeds to supplement salaries of professors whose pay has been reduced under this policy, clarifying this does not replace state appropriations.

Effective for academic years beginning on or after July 1, 2015.
