Increases registration and renewal fees for barbers from $50 to $100 and apprentice barbers from $50 to $100.

Increases barbershop permit or renewal fees from $50 to $100.

Raises examination fees for barber and apprentice barber registration from $85 to $135.

Increases late fees for restoration of expired certificates, ranging from $35-$70 under previous law to $85-$120 for barbers depending on duration of expiration.

Removes the provision allowing the Board to impose civil penalties on barbers with certificates expired for more than six months and eliminates the fee waiver for barbers 70 years and older.
