Allows judges to determine the effective date of limited driving privileges upon petition to the court, rather than applying fixed compliance periods based on revocation length.

Changes the term of limited driving privileges from the shorter of one year or the remaining revocation period to a flat one-year period.

Permits petitioners to request renewal of limited driving privileges for up to two additional one-year terms, with court discretion based on current driving record and criminal history.

Becomes effective December 1, 2015, and applies only to limited driving privileges issued on or after that date.
