General Assembly expresses appreciation and admiration for Duke University men's basketball team winning the 2015 NCAA Division I Championship by defeating University of Wisconsin 68-63 on April 6, 2015.

Duke's fifth Division I NCAA championship title adds to championships won in 1991, 1992, 2001, and 2010, with the team finishing the 2014-2015 season with a 35-4 record.

Resolution specifically recognizes head coach Mike Krzyzewski for achieving his 1,000th career victory on January 25, 2015, and becoming the first NCAA Division I men's basketball coach to accomplish this milestone.

Resolution honors team members including Jahlil Okafor (National Freshman of the Year and consensus first-team All-America), Quinn Cook (second team All-America), and Tyus Jones (Final Four Most Outstanding Player).

Secretary of State directed to transmit certified copy of resolution to Duke University President Richard H. Brodhead, Vice President and Director of Athletics Kevin White, and all individuals honored in the resolution.
