NC S743

Authorizes the Joint Legislative Administrative Procedure Oversight Committee to continue studying issues related to occupational licensing boards, including general oversight, the North Carolina State Bar, and disciplinary actions and procedures.

Allows the Committee to study whether certain categories of contested cases should place the burden of proof with the agency rather than the challenger.

Requires the Committee to report results of these studies, including any legislative proposals, to the 2017 General Assembly.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
