• Eliminates 10 separate reporting requirements to the Environmental Review Commission (ERC), including reports on mining accounts, sustainable energy efficient buildings, vehicle emissions, fish kill activity, and state parks system plans.

• Consolidates multiple environmental reports into single combined reports submitted on standardized schedules: environmental permitting costs and permit processing times (January 1 of odd-numbered years), solid waste management reports (January 15 annually), sedimentation and stormwater reports (October 1 annually), and water resources reports (November 1 annually).

• Reduces reporting frequency for coastal habitat protection plans (from annual to only when significant revisions are made) and terminal groins pilot project (from annual to every five years beginning January 1, 2017).

• Changes Energy Policy Council reporting from biennial to annual (January 1 of each year) and redirects several reports from ERC to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Agriculture and Natural and Economic Resources.

• Requires first consolidated reports to be submitted between October 2016 and January 2017, depending on the subject matter.
