Division of Child Development and Early Education must study the feasibility of developing a statewide streamlined application process for eligible families to apply for and obtain child care, early education, and health support services simultaneously.

Study shall evaluate application processes and technology that improve agencies' ability to match families and children to programs and services for NC Pre-K, Title I, Child Care Subsidy, Head Start, and waiting list management.

Division must consult with stakeholders during the study and may include recommendations for any other relevant programs or services deemed appropriate.

Division must report findings, recommendations, and any legislative proposals to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services by December 1, 2016.

Act becomes effective upon enactment.
