Changes the Town of Marietta municipal elections from every two years to every four years, beginning in 2017.

Modifies the Mayor's term of office from two years to four years.

Changes the number of Council members elected at each election from two to four members, who serve four-year terms.

Establishes a transition schedule where two Council members expiring in 2017 are elected to four-year terms, while two members expiring in 2019 continue until 2021 to align with the new four-year election cycle.

Elections will be conducted by the Robeson County Board of Elections in accordance with North Carolina's uniform municipal election laws.
