Confirms the appointment of Adam Matthew Conrad of Mecklenburg County as a special superior court judge under G.S. 7A-45.1(a9) and (a10).

Appointment fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Judge James Gale on October 1, 2016.

Judge Conrad's term of office commences upon gubernatorial appointment and ends five years from the date of appointment.

Resolution was ratified by the General Assembly on December 16, 2016.
