Prohibits discharging firearms, bows, crossbows, or other deadly weapons to hunt wildlife on, from, or across right-of-ways of state-maintained roads and highways in Buncombe County without written permission from adjoining landowners or lessees.

Exempts persons with permits from the Wildlife Resources Commission for persons with physical mobility handicaps when hunting on game land managed by the Wildlife Resources Commission.

Violations constitute a Class 3 misdemeanor, enforceable by Wildlife Resources Commission officers, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, and other peace officers with general jurisdiction.

Applies only to Buncombe County and becomes effective October 1, 2017.
