Removes two specifically described tracts of property from the corporate limits of the City of Kannapolis, effective June 30, 2017.

Tract I comprises property including portions of Cannon Country Club Estates and adjoining parcels bounded by Cannon Farm Road (SR 1197).

Tract II contains approximately 2.012 acres bounded by Cannon Farm Road and adjoining properties of Robert L. London and Leonard R. Beaver.

Preserves the City of Kannapolis' right to collect or foreclose on any tax liens for ad valorem taxes or special assessments that were outstanding before the effective date.

Property in the deannexed territory is no longer subject to municipal taxes for taxable years beginning July 1, 2017 or later.
