Authorizes Coastal Preparatory Academy (Wilmington) to elect participation in the State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees under Article 3B of Chapter 135 of the General Statutes.

Authorizes Girls Leadership Academy of Wilmington to elect participation in the State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees under Article 3B of Chapter 135 of the General Statutes.

Authorizes Pine Springs Preparatory Academy (Holly Springs) to elect participation in the State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees under Article 3B of Chapter 135 of the General Statutes.

Authorizes Unity Classical Charter School (Charlotte) to elect participation in the State Health Plan for Teachers and State Employees under Article 3B of Chapter 135 of the General Statutes.

Each charter school must make its election within 30 days after the act becomes effective and must comply with all other requirements of G.S. 135-48.54, notwithstanding existing time limitations.
