Extends limited civil immunity from liability to volunteers in good standing with and certified by the National Ski Patrol System, Inc. who render emergency care.

Grants immunity to ski patrol volunteers under the same conditions as other emergency care volunteers, requiring that reasonably apparent circumstances require prompt medical decisions and immediate treatment is necessary.

Limits liability protection to cases where injuries or death are not caused by gross negligence, wanton conduct, or intentional wrongdoing by the volunteer.

Specifies that "compensation" does not include complimentary lift tickets, food, lodging, or other gifts provided as gratuity by resorts, groups, or agencies to National Ski Patrol System volunteers.

Becomes effective October 1, 2017.
