Grants civil immunity to drivers exercising due care who injure pedestrians participating in protests or demonstrations that block traffic on public streets or highways.

Immunity does not apply if the driver's actions were willful or wanton.

Immunity is forfeited if the injured protester held a valid permit authorizing the protest or demonstration at that location.

Renames Article 43B of Chapter 1 of the General Statutes from "Defense of Charitable Immunity Abolished; and Qualified Immunity for Volunteers" to "Immunities and Other Defenses."

Effective upon enactment and applies to injuries occurring after the law takes effect.
