Amends G.S. 143-166.2(c) to expand the list of cancers presumed to be occupationally related to firefighting for death benefit purposes.

Adds six new cancers to the existing three (mesothelioma, testicular cancer, and intestinal cancer): rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, oral cavity cancer, brain cancer, non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma.

Firefighters who die as a direct and proximate result of any of these nine listed cancers are presumed to have been killed in the line of duty.

Effective upon enactment and applies to all deaths occurring on or after the effective date.
