NC H36

Directs the North Carolina Institute of Medicine to study issues related to enhanced access to eye care as outlined in House Bill 36 (Enact Enhanced Access to Eye Care Act) from the 2017 Regular Session.

Requires the NC IOM to submit findings, recommendations, and draft legislation if appropriate to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services by October 1, 2018.

Authorizes the NC IOM to conduct this study pursuant to its statutory mandate under G.S. 90-470(b) to monitor health matters and respond to requests for analysis to inform health policy decisions.

Takes effect upon becoming law.
