Appropriates $6,632,544 from the General Fund to the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Social Services for fiscal year 2017-2018.

Appropriates an additional $6,632,544 for fiscal year 2018-2019 to the same department and division.

Funds are designated for the Intensive Family Preservation Services program, which provides intervention services to families whose children are at imminent risk of removal from the home.

Program aims to prevent placement of children in foster care by assisting at-risk families.

Becomes effective July 1, 2017.
