Clarifies that motor vehicle registration late fees begin to accrue on the fifteenth day of the month following the month in which the registration renewal sticker expires under G.S. 20-66(g).

Removes the provision stating that the 15-day grace period provided in G.S. 20-66(g) does not apply to late fees assessed under this section.

Becomes effective July 1, 2017, and applies to renewals of motor vehicle registrations on or after that date.
