Removes the requirement that school opening dates be no earlier than the Monday closest to August 26 for Lincoln County Schools.

Eliminates the "good cause" waiver provision and associated conditions that previously allowed exceptions to opening date requirements.

Removes restrictions on closing dates being no later than the Friday closest to June 11, giving Lincoln County Schools greater flexibility in setting their school calendar.

Applies exclusively to Lincoln County Schools and becomes effective with the 2017-2018 school year.
