Appropriates $20,000,000 from the General Fund to the Governor's Crime Commission of the Department of Public Safety for the 2017-2018 fiscal year.

Funds are designated for grants supporting street gang violence prevention and intervention programs for both juvenile and adult populations.

Establishes 25% matching requirement for grant recipients, with up to 50% of the match allowed as in-kind contributions, and requires applicants to submit written service plans.

Makes funds available to both public and private entities and agencies that meet eligibility criteria established by the Governor's Crime Commission.

Requires the Governor's Crime Commission to report on fund usage by April 1, 2018 to relevant House and Senate appropriations committees and the Fiscal Research Division; effective July 1, 2017.
