H613 - Transfer of State Property Summary

• Conveys approximately 12 acres of state-owned land (Land Asset ID 6029) to Granville County Board of Commissioners for $1.00 to be used as a cemetery, with a reversionary clause if the property ceases to be used for cemetery purposes.

• Conveys approximately 109 acres of state-owned land (Land Asset ID 6324) to Bladen County Board of Commissioners for $1.00 to be used as a driver training facility for first responders, with a reversionary clause if the property ceases to be used for that purpose.

• State conveys both properties "as is" and "where is" without warranties regarding title, boundaries, zoning, ordinances, or physical/environmental conditions, with all conveyance costs borne by the respective counties.

• Both conveyances are exempt from Article 7 of Chapter 146 of the General Statutes but comply with Article 16, excluding the provisions of G.S. 146-74.

• Effective date: July 1, 2018.
