Prohibits campaign contributions from being used to pay costs for family or friends attending conferences, meetings, or similar events primarily related to the candidate's elected office.

Prohibits campaign contributions from being used to pay costs for family or friends attending meetings of state, regional, national, or international organizations to which the candidate belongs by virtue of their elected office.

Applies to expenditures made on or after January 1, 2018.
