Department of Environmental Quality shall provide each county electronic access to Geographic Information System (GIS) data on the location and dimensions of inactive hazardous substance or waste disposal sites within the county's jurisdiction.

Counties must make GIS data on inactive hazardous sites available in any searchable property mapping system maintained for public use so residents can identify contaminated sites in their area.

GIS data must include a disclaimer that the Department of Environmental Quality does not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or completeness and assumes no liability for damages arising from the use of provided data.

Residential property disclosure forms must include notice that information on contaminated properties is available from the Department of Environmental Quality's website.

Property owners must submit survey plats to the Department identifying the location and dimensions (in addition to existence and location previously required) of inactive hazardous substance or waste disposal sites within 180 days of official notice.
