H792 - 2017 Appropriations Act

• Makes base budget appropriations for state departments, institutions, and agencies for the biennium ending June 30, 2019.

• Appropriates funds from the General Fund, State Highway Fund, and State Highway Trust Fund for Department of Transportation and other state operations.

• Authorizes federal block grant appropriations from DHHS and NER sources for fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.

• Incorporates the State Budget Act (Chapter 143C of General Statutes) by reference and provides that most textual provisions apply only to the 2017-2019 fiscal biennium.

• Takes effect July 1, 2017, with savings from unspent appropriations reverting to appropriate funds at the end of each fiscal year.
