Adds a definition of "motorcoach" to G.S. 20-286 as a commercial bus with a gross vehicle weight rating of at least 26,000 pounds, seating capacity of 16 or more passengers, and at least two rows of passenger seats rearward of the driver.

Exempts manufacturers and distributors of motorcoaches from the prohibition on owning, operating, or controlling motor vehicle dealerships in North Carolina.

Expands existing exemptions that previously applied only to manufacturers and distributors of trailers and semitrailers that are not recreational vehicles.

Effective upon enactment.
