Honors Robert W. Dalrymple, a former member of the North Carolina House of Representatives who served two terms between 1949 and 1952.

Recognizes Dalrymple's military service in the United States Marine Corps during World War II in the Pacific Theater, where he received a Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Acknowledges his community service including 20+ years as a member and chair of the Lee County Board of Education, soil and water conservation district supervisor, community college trustee, and 50 years as Clerk of the Session at Salem Presbyterian Church.

Extends condolences to Dalrymple's family following his death on March 12, 2017, at age 94, and directs the Secretary of State to transmit a certified copy of the resolution to his family.
