Creates minimum requirements for notices posted on private property to prohibit concealed handguns, including written notice in conspicuous manner at all access points with specific text in English and Spanish in block letters at least one inch in height.

Failure to post property according to these requirements constitutes an infraction with possible civil penalty up to $200, with proceeds going to the Civil Penalty and Forfeiture Fund.

Requires that notices comply with new posting standards (G.S. 14-269.5) for property owners to legally prohibit concealed handgun carry under existing concealed carry permit laws.

Applies to existing provisions allowing concealed carry permit holders to carry on private premises where notice prohibiting concealed handguns has been posted.

Effective December 1, 2017 for violations committed on or after that date.
