H979 - 2017 Appropriations Act

• Makes base budget appropriations for state departments, institutions, and agencies for the fiscal biennium ending June 30, 2019.

• Appropriates funds from the General Fund, State Highway Fund, and State Highway Trust Fund for maintenance and operation of state operations and the Department of Transportation.

• Appropriates federal block grant funds for the Department of Health and Human Services and other entities for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018.

• Reenacts Chapter 143C (State Budget Act) of the General Statutes as incorporated by reference.

• Becomes effective July 1, 2017, with most textual provisions applying only to the 2017-2019 fiscal biennium unless otherwise specified.
