Establishes an open season for taking foxes with weapons and for taking foxes and coyotes by trapping during the season set by the Wildlife Resources Commission each year, with no tagging requirements in specified counties: Cabarrus, Gaston, McDowell, Mitchell, Montgomery, Rowan, Rutherford, and Stokes Counties.

Removes all bag limits on coyotes and foxes taken under this act in the specified counties.

Establishes an open season for taking coyotes and foxes with weapons and by trapping in Davie County and portions of Forsyth County outside Winston-Salem city limits, with no tagging requirements and no bag limits.

Repeals several local acts from 1947, 1973, 1977, 1989, and 2008 that previously regulated fox and coyote taking, while retaining specific sections of local acts for Greene, Montgomery, and other counties.

Becomes effective October 1, 2018.
