Permits students attending public, private, or home schools without a particular sport to participate in that sport at the nearest public high school offering the program.

Public high school students may participate in sports at the closest high school offering that sport, subject to regular student terms and conditions.

Private and home school students may participate in sports at their base public high school or, if unavailable there, at the closest public high school offering the sport.

Public high schools may charge reasonable participation fees to non-enrolled students, as established by local boards of education.

Extends the same participation rules to extracurricular activities beyond athletics, effective for the 2017-2018 school year.
