Removes opening and closing date requirements for Caswell County Schools, allowing local boards to set their own school calendar dates without state restrictions.

Eliminates the restriction that student opening dates cannot be earlier than the Monday closest to August 26 and closing dates cannot be later than the Friday closest to June 11 for Caswell County.

Removes the "good cause" waiver provision and exceptions for modified calendar schools that previously applied to calendar flexibility.

Applies only to Caswell County Schools and becomes effective with the 2017-2018 school year.
