Exempts hospice inpatient facilities from certificate of need (CON) review requirements.

Removes hospice inpatient facility beds from the definition of "health service facility beds" subject to CON regulation.

Excludes space used as a hospice inpatient facility from "bed capacity" calculations under CON rules.

Applies retroactively to any hospice inpatient facility that operated under a CON prior to the effective date of the act.

Effective upon passage, allowing existing hospice inpatient facilities to operate without CON compliance going forward.
