Amends G.S. 143-166.2(c) to expand the list of cancers presumed to be occupationally related to firefighting for purposes of death benefits.

Adds five new cancers to the existing list: rectal cancer, esophageal cancer, oral cavity cancer, brain cancer, non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, and Multiple Myeloma.

Firefighters who die as a direct and proximate result of any of these cancers are presumed to have been killed in the line of duty, making them eligible for death benefits.

Effective upon enactment and applies to deaths occurring on or after the effective date.
