Establishes a seat on the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education and Training Standards Commission for one full-time sworn law enforcement officer appointed by the North Carolina Police Benevolent Association.

Increases the Commission's total membership from 34 to 35 members by adding this at-large position.

Grants the Police Benevolent Association appointee full voting privileges, except in probable cause committee cases involving their own members.

Sets the initial appointment term to begin July 1, 2017 and expire June 30, 2020, with subsequent appointees serving three-year terms at the will of the appointing authority.

Takes effect upon enactment.
