Establishes new salary schedule for occupational therapists and physical therapists employed by public schools in the 2017-2018 fiscal year based on teacher "A" classifications plus experience-based bonuses.

Therapists with 0-9 years of experience receive 35% above the "A" teacher salary schedule; those with 10-19 years receive 40%; those with 20+ years receive 45%.

Guarantees that therapists employed in 2016-2017 receive at least the same state funding toward their compensation in 2017-2018 as they received in the prior year.

Appropriates $3,000,000 in recurring funds from the General Fund to the Department of Public Instruction to implement the salary increases.

Takes effect July 1, 2017.
