NC S61

Authorizes holders of limited provisional licenses to drive past 9:00 p.m. when traveling to or from a class at a high school or postsecondary school in which they are enrolled.

Adds this exemption to the existing circumstances under G.S. 20-11(e)(2) that allow unsupervised driving by limited provisional license holders.

Other permitted unsupervised driving times and circumstances remain unchanged, including driving between 5:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., to or from work, and to or from volunteer emergency service activities.

Effective upon becoming law.
