Effective only if North Carolina voters approve a constitutional amendment protecting the right to work in November 2018.

Declares that the right to work must be protected free from undue restraints and coercion, and that persons cannot be denied work based on labor organization membership or non-membership.

Prohibits employers from requiring employees to join, remain in, or pay dues to any labor organization as a condition of employment.

Declares agreements that deny employment to non-union members or require union membership as an employment condition to be illegal conspiracies in restraint of trade.

Prohibits conditioning the purchase of agricultural products on a producer's union or non-union status, with "agricultural producer" defined by the Fair Labor Standards Act and Internal Revenue Code.
